Grey Wolf develops a new rig for multiple-well pad drilling: PaDSRig™
Our fit-for-purpose Production and Drilling System Rig (PaDSRig™) offers operators a time-efficient, safe and cost –effective rig for drilling multiple wells from a single “pad” location. With a drilling depth capacity of 18,000 feet, the drilling structure can skid up to 120 feet in one direction and 10 feet in another direction from the initial well location to allow simultaneous drilling and production operations, while eliminating multiple rig moves. AC technology enhances drilling control and improves fuel efficiency.
Designed to rig up safely and efficiently on a new location with a single crane, PaDSRig™ features include:
- 29-foot high drilling floor
- 400-ton block and 400-ton hook load rating
- Operable in harsh environments down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit
